Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Develops and documents processes and standard operating procedures (SOP) and schedules for collecting performance data to be incorporated into WHS related performance dashboards.
- Assists data owners and process owners with collecting performance data.
- Provides recommendations as to the type of data that may be needed to show the performance visualizations in the manner required by the data or process owners.
- Puts features in place to reduce data errors and performs data quality assurance.
- Monitor data provision and track and report issues in obtaining performance data.
- Develops and implements plans for converting individual manual processes to obtain data into automated interfaces.
- Develops and maintains a standard process and a detailed plan to collect the associated performance data for each performance metric.
- Leverages the advanced skill and experience of senior analysts to oversee complex tasks, transfer knowledge and perform advanced research, in addition to performing the other tasks listed in this section.
- Utilizes the capabilities within BI tools (Tableau or other specified tools to produce visualizations (charts, graphs, tables, reports, etc.) to convey the performance of services or other information to assist decision making.
- Works with data owners and process owners to determine the data that is required to represent the performance information required by the process owner.
- Provides input into and oversight of the design and implementation of more complex metrics visualizations.
- Provides informal knowledge transfer to less senior analysts on advanced visualization techniques.
- Research new or advanced visualization methods and tools.
