The Management Analyst is responsible for collaborating with top-level managers and executives to define overall goals and objectives for projects. This role will prepare recommendations for resource requirements to accomplish projects and negotiate with stakeholders to obtain necessary resources and support. The Management Analyst will develop project plans and establish systems for review, control, and reporting, as well as prepare agency directives, memoranda, policy statements, and other written guidelines and recommendations related to projects.
Additionally, this position will coordinate the impact of projects with employees, managers in all affected areas, and external individuals and organizations. The Management Analyst will represent the program office's interests and endeavors for assigned projects, acting as the resident expert relating to all aspects of project planning, execution, and implementation.
Education and Experience Requirements :
- Minimum of 1 year of specialized experience using quantitative and qualitative techniques for analyzing and evaluating complex mission-oriented programs and projects
- Experience in developing project and program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones involving complex programs, systems, or issues of critical importance to the organization
- Proven ability to assess project progress, conduct briefings, and prepare comprehensive reports with solutions and recommendations for top-level managers and executives

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
