Responsibilities
- Manage multiple sales locations.
- Ensure achievement of market sales and profitability objectives for all branches under supervision.
- Aggressively stimulate, review and monitor all business activity for the branches and ensure achievement of activity goals that are consistent with a world-class organization.
- Develop solid business relationships with new or existing customers throughout different locations.
- Manage forecasted revenue streams on an annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly basis.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the sales organization and implement changes necessary to take stability and profitability to new levels.
- Prepare and present quarterly evaluations of productivity for the sales organization (i.e. Attract, hire, train, develop, motivate and manage team members).
- Coach and counsel direct reports on overall performance and provide guidance and recommendations to develop their areas of concern, as well as areas of concern of their employees.
- Ability to delegate responsibilities as deemed appropriate based on business needs.
- Manage assigned branches by ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures. This will require open communication with Legal and/or Human Resources as required.
- 10 years of solid experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience with a strong track record selling and managing Office Equipment and/or Information Technology products.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to motivate and direct sales teams in business-to-business, vertical, and major account sales.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, management and organizational skills with a proven track record.
- Proven ability to directly manage and track performance and develop excellent internal and external customer relationships.
- Strong business acumen managing to “bottom-line” profitability.
- Experience in accurately forecasting and managing the sales of a high growth business.
- Work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Approximately 25% travel between multiple offices.
