Business Development Manager (BDM) - Sheet Metal Manufacturing

Konik is partnering with a local sheet metal contract manufacturing company. We are seeking a results-driven sales hunter with a strong background in sheet metal manufacturing to drive new business and manage key client relationships. This role focuses on sales engineering, working closely with OEMs and industry leaders to support New Product Introduction (NPI), prototyping, and expanding production orders.

Business Development Manager (BDM) Responsibilities:
- Drive new business in target industries, including industrial, aerospace & defense, medical, and electronics.
- Engage engineering teams to support NPI and prototype development.
- Develop existing accounts by securing production orders and increasing volumes.
- Sell technical solutions, leveraging expertise in sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, and metal stamping.
- Collaborate internally with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by closing new deals and expanding accounts.
- 5 years of sales, business development, or account management experience in sheet metal manufacturing.
- Technical sales expertise with the ability to engage engineering teams.
- Proven track record in hunting for new business and growing key accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
