Electrical Controls Designer
Apple Valley, MN | Direct Hire | Hybrid | $70k - $90k
Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Designer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers to determine project specifications, design technical wiring drawings, and create electrical cabinet layouts. This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and a solid understanding of electrical schematics.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with engineers to define project requirements.
- Design and create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings using AutoCAD Electrical software.
- Ensure designs meet engineering specifications and project guidelines.
- Work closely with the electrical assembly department to implement and document any field changes in the drawings.
- Manage and maintain symbol libraries for projects as needed.
- Review and check drawings for accuracy, making sure they are error-free and meet all project requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends, new developments in electrical systems, and best practices.
