Quality Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of ISO9001 with design control, including training, self-audits, and compliance verification.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop and standardize work instructions, inspection processes, and documentation to ensure product consistency.
- Oversee internal audits, manage corrective actions, and report on quality performance to leadership.
- Handle MRB processes, including deviation management and customer warranty claims.
- Ensure compliance with product certification requirements (CE, ETL, CARB, CSA, UKCA).
- Manage inspection processes, first article inspections, and calibration of equipment.
- 7 years in a progressive quality role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of ISO9001 with design control and experience building a QMS from the ground up.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma tools (5S, SPC, Kaizen, PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D).
- Expertise in root cause analysis, CAPA, PPAP, GD&T, and quality control for metal fabrication.
- Hands-on experience with inspection equipment and processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency to drive quality improvements.
