PLC’s core service is outside plant damage investigation, recovery, and prevention. We help our clients recover the costs of third-partyâ¯damageâ¯to their infrastructure, such asâ¯underground fiber optic or gas lines. PLC currently employs over 120â¯people, servicing some of the largest cableâ¯andâ¯telecomsâ¯operatorsâ¯across the countryâ¯(Comcast,â¯Spectrum,â¯AT&T, and Google, to name a few).â¯Phoenix is currently aggressively expanding its business and looking for talented and energetic people to bring onboard to help drive growth.â¯
POSITION SUMMARYâ¯
The Claim Recovery Agent is responsible for reviewing information provided on a damage, determining the liable party, invoicing the responsible party, and pursuing recovery of the repair costs.
Duties
- Review and analyze claim information, identify liable party, and take action to move claims toward successful resolution
- Gather costing and prepare invoices for select clients
- Correspond with Liable Party/Insurance Carrier both verbally and in writing
- Negotiate settlements
- Resolve conflicts and escalate urgent issues
Required Skills and Capabilities
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- The ability to work independently, manage goals and deadlines, have good attention to detail
- Adaptability, logical thinking and conscientiousness
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- High speed internet access, personal computer, phone line dedicated to work contacts
- Bilingual in Spanish required
