Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay rate: $29.81 - $33.65
Status: Temp to Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial reports, records, and the general ledger.
- Prepare journal entries, perform analyses, and reconcile accounts.
- Assist with the monthly close processes.
- Code invoices, set up accounts, and reconcile monthly books.
- Reconcile accounts and perform month-end closing entries.
- Handle corrections of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) invoice balances.
- Run reports by client from Cycleution and Sage.
- Assist with billing, revenue, and cost-related tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Experience with Sage software is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of general financial accounting principles.
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Salary : $30 - $34
