Summary & Essential Responsibilities:
The Order Fulfillment Associate (3PL) plays a critical role in the direct fulfillment process, ensuring the accurate and efficient picking, packing, staging, and shipping of products. As a key part of the fulfillment team, this role is responsible for executing essential administrative and shipping operations while maintaining accuracy, organization, and compliance with company standards.
Essential responsibilities include:
· Direct Fulfillment:
- Pick, pack, and stage orders with precision to meet fulfillment requirements and order deadlines.
- Ensure that all picked and packed items match order specifications before shipment.
- Assist in loading shipments and preparing packages for carrier pickup.
Shipping & Labeling:
- Print carton and shipping labels for the packing team, ensuring accuracy in product details, barcodes, and addresses.
- Cross check PO quantities against the electronic order log before printing.
- Scan and accurately record purchase orders (POs) for inventory records, ensuring all documentation is properly logged into the system for tracking and auditing purposes.
Warehouse Support & Compliance:
- Provide backup support to the packing team during peak periods or staffing shortages to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Follow product handling, storage, and movement guidelines to ensure efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored at the end of each day. Additionally, contribute to the cleanliness of common areas by disposing of waste, wiping down surfaces, and keeping shared spaces tidy to promote a safe, efficient, and professional work environment.
- Report any safety hazards or operational concerns to the Warehouse Team Lead or Order Fulfillment Supervisor.
- Support other departments when needed to maintain smooth fulfillment center operations.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in office administration, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a shipping, or logistics role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, order fulfillment processes, and label printing is advantageous.
- Forklift operator experience is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail, especially in printing accurate shipping and carton labels and scanning purchase orders (POs).
- Excellent organizational skills for managing and maintaining digital and physical records of POs and shipping documentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse management software; experience with label printing systems is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Strong time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and ensure timely processing of shipments.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving boxes, when providing backup support to the picking and packing team.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and work demands during peak periods or staff shortages.
- Encourages and adheres to all safety protocols in the warehouse.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
