Position: Data Engineer (Recent Social Media Client experience Must)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Ideally onsite 1 day a week in) - They can be remote if they are PST
Duration: 6 Months possibility of extensions
Must Haves:
- Snowflake for DBT
- Python
- Social API experience and data stream building experience
- Airflow
- SQL
Do you have any Data Engineers available with paid media data experience (ad campaign structures, performance metrics, and marketing analytics)*?
Experience working with paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, and DV360. *Right now, this is a MUST.

- Have an internal tool Datorama and new project being spun up to replace this tool updated version of Dataroma and they need to migrate the existing code base and pipelines to extract data

Will set someone aside:
- Experience with API integration and building connectors for marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with Paid Media data, including ad campaign structures, performance metrics, and marketing analytics.
- We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for marketing data within the Paid Media domain.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data engineering principles, expertise in SQL, dbt, Airflow and Snowflake, and a decent understanding of APIs and connectors to seamlessly integrate various data sources.
- As part of the Paid Media analytics team, this role will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to build robust data pipelines that support performance measurement, campaign optimization, and strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and processing.
- Expertise in dbt to develop modular, scalable, and well-documented transformation logic.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow scheduling and monitoring.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, including Snowflake and/or Databricks.
- Experience with API integration and building connectors for marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with Paid Media data, including ad campaign structures, performance metrics, and marketing analytics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and debug data pipeline issues.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, and DV360.
- Exposure to Python for data processing and automation.
- Understanding concepts of marketing attribution.
- Working knowledge of Datorama is good to have.
