Using ACT and ABA as primary treatment approaches, The Nest LA provides expert guidance and instruction in parent coaching, social skills coaching/groups, and immersive art classes on-site, and provides 1:1 support to children ages 0-6 in their homes and classroom/daycare settings.

We focus on supporting children ages 0-6 in their day care and home environments, providing high quality individualized services in concert with their educators and others involved for cohesive services. The Nest LA is seeking an experienced Behavior Technician or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) who has experience supervising, motivating, and training staff, as well as experience partnering with day cares and families to provide excellent wrap-around care for students. Hours for this position will primarily fall between 8:30am-4:00p.m. during weekdays within a classroom school day/care setting, The goal for The Nest LA is to provide consistency in our staff’s work schedule, by focusing on day care/school settings.
Responsibilities:
• Report Directly to the Clinical Director
• Set and achieve performance goals with client, client guardian, and treatment teams.
• Assist with training of new staff.
• Participate in initial and on-going client assessments, and based on these assessments, design and maintain top quality treatment programs.
• Oversee and maintain accurate and organized client notes, data, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Train clients’ guardians and family members on treatment techniques; maintain positive working relationship with clients’ family
• Monitor programs in the field and/or clinic
• Provide direct supervision and parent consultation for our families
• Write Progress Reports
• Lead and mentor team members as directed by the Clinical Director
Job Requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of ABA treatment techniques and treatment program designs for children of varying skill levels. At least 1 year of ABA Behavior Therapy experience.
• M.A. /M.S. in related field is a Plus
• Bi-lingual is a Plus
• Excellent people skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent administrative skills
• Possess strong clinical insight, and critical thinking skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license and driver's insurance
• Provide skills training services and/or behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, adults and their families.
Must have or obtain RBT Certification within 60 days of employment.

- Full physical dexterity/agility to perform required movements (bending, kneeling, typing, etc.).
