Behavior Therapist Floater/Support Assistant - Irvine

Job Requirements:
- Certified RBT or 2 years of Behavior Therapist experience with a wide range of clients (ages 4-12).
- BA/BS preferred in the fields of psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, school psychology, education, special education, ABA, or related field
- Able to maintain consistent schedule; Commit to 1 year of employment
- Possess strong clinical insight, and critical thinking skills
- Bilingual Spanish speaking therapists highly desired
- Reliable transportation and valid CA driver's license and driver's insurance.
- COVID Vaccinated
- Have reliable source of transportation and comfortable with commuting to various Irvine School locations (Elementary, Middle, and High school)
- Ability to pivot and navigate in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and One drive software
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, confidentiality, and good judgment
- Ability to deal with conflict as well as give and receive feedback diplomatically
- Highly organized and resourceful, able to juggle and multi-task, with acute attention to detail and follow through
- 60% Floater role/40% administrative tasks.
Physical Demands
- Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets).
- Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
- Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.)
Job Responsibilities:
- Be fun, energetic, and motivating for the children and families we work with
- Provide skills training services and/or behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, adults and their families
- Full-time (33 hours per week dependent on Therapist and client's availability and degree); available from 7am Monday - Friday; reliable
- Maintain accurate records of therapy provided including session notes, and data/summaries
- Provide feedback to parents/caregivers regarding progress of clients as well as recommendations
- Collaborate with other therapists and clinical staff in the agency, as well as schools and other therapies client's receive
- Able to work as an independent clinician in implementing treatment plans, seeking out additional support and supervision from clinical team as needed
- Participate in on-going trainings and supervision
- Must meet all training and certification requirements
- Due to holiday/school breaks, it may require to wait for a full assignment.
