Early Intervention Teacher - North Orange County areas
     
Position Type: Full-time/Part-time (Flexible Hours)
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience, education and certification  $18.00 - $26.00 an hour plus benefits.

About Us: We are a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing high-quality early intervention services for children (birth to 3 years of age) showing delays in developmental areas. We work closely with families to help children reach their full potential and thrive in their early years through natural, play-based learning.

Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and skilled Early Intervention Teachers to join our team! In this role, you will work directly with young children in their homes, community and or clinic, using developmentally appropriate, play-based strategies to promote progress in core areas of development. You will partner with families to ensure the child’s developmental goals are met through daily activities, routines, and interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review developmental assessments to identify delays in areas such as communication, motor skills, cognitive development, and social-emotional growth.
  • Implement individualized intervention plans to address developmental goals under the direction of an Early Intervention Supervisor .
  • Use play-based techniques to engage children in learning during natural daily activities (e.g., playtime, mealtime, self-care routines).
  • Collaborate with families to integrate therapeutic techniques into everyday routines and provide coaching to enhance learning opportunities.
  • Foster a professional, positive and supportive relationship with families, providing them with strategies and resources to continue development at home.
  • Monitor and track progress and collaborate with supervisor on adjusting interventions as needed to ensure continuous goal growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of child progress and communication with families.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • One year's experience working with children, especially in early intervention or developmental delay settings.
  • Knowledge of child development (birth to 3 years), with a focus on early childhood interventions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with families and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation for home visits is required
  • Ability to pass background check (Criminal history check; fingerprints)

Physical Demands

  • Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (running, bending, kneeling, computer typing, and standing).
  • Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
  • Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.)

*ABA Sign-On Bonus is paid after 90 days working with clients. Bonus will vary based on ABA work experience, education, certification and meeting all job requirements.
