Konrad Construction is a licensed Midwestern General Contractor offering new construction, commercial remodeling, and custom design-build construction. We are also very well established as Installers of Warehouse Solutions (Modular Offices, Mezzanines, Racking, & Fixturing), performing this work throughout the country.
The Project Manager will effectively manage large and/or multiple smaller projects concurrently. This position will report to the Director of Operations.
Ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Construction Project Management
- Estimating Experience
- Communication skills, including customer relations skills
- Team player, prefers fast paced environment, comfortable multi-tasking, prioritizing, and ability to handle multiple projects at various phases of construction
- Strong verbal/written stills
- Strong computer skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong attention to detail
- Proficient with architectural/structural blueprint reading
- Knowledge of AIA billing process (G702/G703)
- Job site experience
- Familiar with Preconstruction, processing/tracking submittals, RFIs, change orders; PROCORE or similar experience

Duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities.
- Coordinate project with Architect/Engineering team as required, including additional third party design related partners
- Oversee and provide guidance on projects to Assistant Project Managers and staff.
- Work with Project Superintendents and foremen to plan, organize and direct activities related to construction projects.
- Review and Develop project scopes of work
- Review subcontractor proposals to incorporate all project requirements and minimize scope gap in all buyouts.
- Lead and/or assist with estimating potential projects
- Implement project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications. Confer with supervisors and foremen to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on-site foreman to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
- Represent and Lead company in project meetings.
- Work with contract administrator to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customer.
- Coordinate and Procure supplies and materials to complete project.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients
- Update Project reports including work progress, costs, and scheduling updates
- Work with field operations to assign workers to construction sites to work on specified projects.
- Proactively develop relationships with the subcontractor community.
- Proactively develop relationships with clients, architects, and engineers to help secure future leads and work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
