We have an exciting opportunity for a mid-level role as Sales Operations Coordinator 2 to join our Kontron Family! We are offering an administrative position in our sales team in the Springfield-OH office. Our Springfield, OH group is specialized in chassis and power supplies for modular, rugged computing systems which are used in aerospace / defense, as well as in scientific research applications.
Requirements
- Active sales work with existing and new customers to generate leads and purchase orders
- Communication and negotiation with customers to provide product and sales process related information
- Generation and processing / managing of quotes and sales opportunities
- Processing of customer orders and management of resulting sales process
- Purchasing and expediting (securing the quality and timely delivery of goods)
- Communication with customers for order status / tracking
- Managing domestic and international shipments with UPS / FEDEX and other freight carriers
- Maintenance of customer data base, price lists, sales data reports and statistics
- Support business operation in daily needed tasks
- Travel approximately 20%. The willingness for traveling to occasionally meet customers at trade shows or on-site for sales and support would be required.
