The WIC Nutrition Educator plays a vital role in the WIC clinic by delivering nutrition services to eligible families. The educator will conduct nutrition assessments, counseling, and education, as well as medical screenings, referrals, and breastfeeding education and support.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college in Human Nutrition,Nutritional Sciences, Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Home Economics / Consumer and Family Sciences with an emphasis in nutrition, required
- CPR certification for Health Care Providers, required
- One year’s experience in the nutrition field, preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred
