What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift/Delivery Driver position at Kooima Company?

We are looking for the right person to help Kooima Company meet an aggressive growth goal by helping employees meet our customers’ needs.
Essential Duties:
- Drives company-owned truck to deliver product and pick up material regionally.
- Drives Forklift internally
- Loads/unloads truck.
- Performs daily inspection & maintenance of truck to ensure safety.
- Keeps truck clean.
- Packaging and/or banding a wide variety of customer parts
- Helping to provide our customers with the finest parts possible by delivering parts to the correct places
- Ensuring that the finished parts and packaging meet our world class standards
- Kits and stages jobs for production operations
Fills in other areas of the shop when/where needed
Qualifications:
- Must have basic computer, math and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to operate a forklift and banding equipment
- Must have the ability to consistently lift up to 80 lbs.
- Must pass an MVR check for insurance purposes
- Per federal motor carrier safety regulations part 391.11, the driver must have the following:
- Age 21 or older
- Must speak and read English fluently
- Valid Class A preferred, Minimum Class B required and willing and able to obtain Class A
