Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our accounting functions and contribute to our financial strategy. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in manufacturing accounting, a strong grasp of cost accounting principles, and extensive experience with inventory management. You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations and support the company's growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and implement cost accounting strategies to analyze manufacturing costs and improve profitability.
• Manage inventory valuation, including cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Utilize NetSuite (similar) MRP system to optimize inventory management and forecasting.
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts; monitor performance against budget and report variances.
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance and support operational decision-making.
• Provide guidance on financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in financial management.
  

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on cost accounting in a manufacturing Strong Proficiency in NetSuite (equivalent MRP Software) and Excel.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and cycle counting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor accounting teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
