What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Mechanic (Temp) position at Kootenai County?
The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office is looking for a motivated individual to perform a variety of routine mechanical, electrical, and technical maintenance duties on motor vehicles, machinery and equipment, and performs other skilled and semi-skilled duties related to the daily maintenance of Kootenai County motorized equipment for assigned departments of the County.

WE ARE INTERESTED IN CANDIDATES THAT:
- Have the ability to perform repairs on motor vehicles, boats, atvs, machinery and other equipment
- Possess the ability to do metal fabrication and welding or the ability to learn
- Have their own tools
- Are detail orientated and organized
DO YOU QUALIFY?
- Do you have high school diploma or GED and a minimum of five (5) years of experience and/or combination of education and experience?
- Do you possess or have the ability to obtain ASE Certification?
- Do you possess or have the ability to obtain a valid driver’s license and be insurable?
