THE POSITION: This position assists detention deputies with the booking and releasing process of inmates through direct contact with inmates, update inmate files and performs a variety of jail related clerical duties. This position also utilizes hand-eye coordination to manage and monitor all doors, gates, video surveillance, and intercom systems in the Kootenai County Jail.
- $22.41 per hour DOE (includes .50 shift differential)

- Do you possess or have the ability to obtain a NCIC (National Crime Information Center) certification within six (6) months of hire?

BONUS DETAILS:
Upon hire, a $500.00 payment is made in the first regularly scheduled paycheck. An additional payment of $500.00 will be made upon completion of one (1) year.
