About the Role:
As an Environmental Systems Technician, you’ll play a vital role in managing:
- Landfill gas, leachate, surface water, and groundwater systems
- Hazardous waste and stormwater management
- Emergency response related to environmental hazards
You’ll also rotate monthly with the team for 24-hour on-call status, including weekends and holidays.
Is This Position Right for You?
You might be the ideal candidate if you:
- Have an associate’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Bring at least 4 years of related experience
- Do you have, or can you obtain, a Class B CDL and meet insurability requirements to get behind the wheel
- Do you currently hold, or are you willing and able to obtain, the certifications listed in the job description
- Are physically fit, respirator-fitted, and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Possess strong communication, customer service s and mechanical skills
- Enjoy variety and teamwork in your day-to-day responsibilities
