Position Summary
Provides guidance, support and program development for the Behavioral Health (BH) case managers, therapists and recreational therapy teams across all units within the BH division. Responsible for identifying program and training needs and works to ensure evidence-based practice standards and regulatory requirements are implemented and maintained.
Responsibilities
Supervises clinical practice and supports the teams with oversight on assessments, interventions, advocacy and case management
Facilitates processes that connect the care coordination and programming for the clinicians within the BH division
Supervises and works collaboratively with all programs and areas of patient care to address barriers and needs for care management
Monitors, assists, and enhances the clinical work of the team while promoting the skills necessary for the professional development
Facilitates meetings and care coordination, collaborating across the organization and with community stakeholders
Trains, coaches, and develops staff to perform evidence-based care for patients and families
Familiar with regulatory requirements, standards, policies, practices and procedures within the field
Utilizes knowledge of culture, age and development stages to build programming and provide interventions for best practice
Provides supervision to interns, licensed and unlicensed staff
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
Performs other related duties as assigned
Competent to meet age-specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in social work or related field required
Idaho Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) required
Minimum 3 years' LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT experience required
Previous hospital-based experience preferred
Must have licensure and training to provide supervision for unlicensed and licensed clinicians
Demonstrated competence in program development and experience training and supervising staff
Knowledge and experience with the application of Mental Health treatment including assessments, crisis management, conflict resolution, therapeutic interventions and case management
Working Conditions
Must be able to lift and move up to 10 lbs

Must be able to maintain a standing position

Exposure to violent and unpredictable individuals
