Job Summary:
The Graphic Artist utilizes artwork provided by the distributor to prepare it to be production ready. The artist lays out the artwork on production templates to size, gauges the art, and correctly colors it based on the printing method.
Responsibilities:
- Finalizing designs using image editing software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop.
- Reviewing graphics, layouts and fonts before products are completed

- Recreating, laying out and editing art files submitted by customer to be production ready.
- Troubleshooting basic and routine customer art issues
- Work collaboratively (locally, cross-site & with our off-shore partners) to provide guidance to Care Krew team members by answering questions, providing feedback & assisting with training as needed.
- Serving as the next step in various resolutions for both internal and external customers
- Working on projects, process improvements understanding other area processes as well as keeping Company goals in mind.
- Having a strong desire to help and take ownership on seeing things through.
- Being curious, with a desire to always learn more, including strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
- Effectively communicating, both written and verbally with both internal and external customers.
- Communicating with external customers to offer help which includes escalations to discuss options or solutions for artwork to ensure quality imprint and product.
- Always having a contagious positive attitude with your co-workers and our customers.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graphic Production degree preferred
- Strong service mindset and demonstrated ability to think quickly and deliver results
- Strong verbal, listening, & written communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency using a computer and associated software with an emphasis on artwork programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud & Smart Stream, etc.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure to meet order deadlines
- Ability to multitask & focus on multiple issues at once
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and how details fit into the big picture.
- Having a passion for continual learning about the promotional products we support.
- Speaking, verbal and written in English; bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
- Overtime as needed which includes Saturday/weekend.
- 1-3 Years in a production art environment preferred.
- Previous experience with manufacturing & production a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using order management systems such as Oracle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word & Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Having a passion for continual learning about the promotional products we support.
