Supply Chain Associate

About the Job:

Koozie Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Material Handler. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Move materials to and from production areas, maintaining inventory levels for efficient use by production
2. Accurately record all transactions and transfers, completing required forms
3. Verify prescribed accuracy levels within assigned inventory locations
4. Participate in recount teams during floor counts, utilizing problem-solving methods to resolve inventory discrepancies
5. Work with receiving and operators to ensure prompt notification of items on the 'hot list'
6. Fills picking locations in both warehouses daily, rotating stock properly, and maintains effective working relationships with other associates
7. Perform duties in a safe manner, using approved safety equipment as instructed
8. Maintain a neat and orderly work area
9. Actively participate in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement
10. Demonstrate flexibility and commitment through cross-training and helping other departments consistent with business needs
11. Serve as backup to Shipping Department

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Physical stamina to lift up to 45 lbs. continuously and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
