- Are comfortable communicating technical insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including clients, and enjoy building strong client relationships.
We want to hear from you if you:
- Have 2 years of experience in building and deploying deep learning solutions, with a strong focus on computer vision applications like object detection, image classification, segmentation, and OCR. (Experience should include building both proof-of-concept (PoC) and production-ready models.)
- Can effectively translate client needs into technical requirements, even with limited initial information, and are adept at creating rapid PoCs using pre-trained models and minimal data. You can clearly document these requirements and communicate them to development teams, including translating them into user stories for agile project management.
- Are skilled at developing computer vision solutions with limited datasets, employing techniques like data augmentation, transfer learning, and few-shot learning to achieve desired results.
- Possess at least 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) using design patterns to create robust and maintainable code.
- Have managed and prioritized multiple projects, and can quickly shift focus to complete critical tasks for clients.
- Possess exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, and can effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including clients.
Knowledge of Tools:
- Deep Learning Frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow or ONNX
- Computer Vision Libraries: OpenCV, pillow
- Data Libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn
- Visualization Libraries: Plotly, Matplotlib, Seaborn
- Cloud & Development Tools: Docker, Azure DevOps, AzureML SDKs, Azure Cloud (or similar cloud platforms)
We give bonus points if you have:
- Experience in designing, implementing, and deploying robust MLOps pipelines for automated model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Working knowledge of databases like SQLite, PostgreSQL
- Proven experience in delivering successful computer vision projects in a manufacturing setting, particularly with small object detection, defect detection, or visual quality assurance
- Experience with predictive modeling using time-series data from sensors, especially in the context of manufacturing processes.
- Experience working directly with manufacturing and/or large enterprise clients, understanding their unique challenges and needs.
- Experience with manufacturing process control including PLCs, OPC UA, digital and analog I/O.
