Primary Responsibilities Could Include:
- Glass Finishing: Assist in the finishing of glass products molded from molten glass using various types of equipment.
- Technical Expertise: Read and interpret technical drawings to determine finishing processes and allowable tolerances. Use micrometers and other measuring devices accurately.
- Machine Operation: Set up and run machines properly, adhering to all safety procedures.
- Safety First: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical/mechanical drawings.
- Machinery Experience: Experience operating various types of machinery, equipment, and measurement tools.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills including converting English units to Metric units (and vice versa)., the ability to follow instructions, and a knack for learning new tasks quickly.
