We are seeking an experienced IT Solutions Team Lead to guide the Koppert IT Team and oversee our USA IT operations. The IT Solutions Team Lead will provide oversight on IT hardware, software, and systems at four US locations and for our remote employees. You will be a working team lead, guiding the IT department and its responsibilities while completing tasks as a team. You will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment and automated production lines by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the organization by communicating with the internal Global IT Helpdesk. This role will ensure the stability and efficiency of network and equipment, managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes, and developing and monitoring IT Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The IT Solutions Team Lead will be a proactive leader with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft CE to support the IT department and collaborate with other cross-functional departments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Network and Equipment Stability :

Ensure the stability, security, and performance of the company s network and IT infrastructure.
Monitor and maintain hardware and software systems, addressing any issues promptly.
Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup solutions.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding :

Oversee the IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding processes.

Set up and configure new employee workstations, accounts, and access permissions.

Ensure the secure and efficient removal of access for departing employees.

IT KPI Development and Oversight :

Develop, track, and report on IT KPIs to measure the performance and effectiveness of IT services.

Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance IT operations.

Regularly review and update IT policies and procedures to align with industry best practices.

Team Leadership and Support :

Lead, mentor, and support the IT Support Technician(s), fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Provide technical guidance and assistance to team members, helping resolve complex technical issues.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Project Management :

Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Manage resources, including personnel, tools, and budgets, to optimize project outcomes.

Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders effectively.

Communication and Collaboration :

Act as a liaison between the IT department and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication.

Collaborate with other teams to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Stay informed about the latest IT trends and technologies to recommend improvements.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft CE :

Utilize knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft CE to support ERP and CRM functions.

Ensure the integration and smooth operation of these systems within the company s IT infrastructure.

Provide training and support to team members and other staff on these platforms.

SharePoint Experience :

Manage and maintain SharePoint sites and services.

Provide support and training to users on SharePoint functionalities.

Ensure SharePoint is effectively utilized for collaboration and document management.

Hardware Troubleshooting :

Physically troubleshoot and repair hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

Ensure all hardware is functioning optimally and address any physical malfunctions promptly.

Education and Experience

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required. 8 years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of educational requirement.

Proven experience in IT management or team leadership roles.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong technical knowledge of network and system administration.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Ability to troubleshoot and demonstrate analytical / problem solving skills.

Experience with IT KPI development and monitoring.

Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of non-technical users.

Competent at following IT security best practices.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and printers.

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to travel (air and ground) up to 20% of the time between our offices to provide support.

Ability to frequently lift and / or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly exposed to repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, crouching, reaching, pushing, and / or pulling.

May be required to adjust schedule to meet organizational needs, including special events, evenings, weekends & holidays.
