Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Provider Contractor Representative to join our fast-paced team supporting provider network development and contract management. This is a hybrid role requiring periodic onsite presence at our Canton and Meriwether offices. The ideal candidate will bring strong contracting experience, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive, independent work style.
Locations: Canton & Meriwether (Hybrid – Onsite presence required)
Hours per Week: 40
Pay Rate: $29/hour (W2)
Contract Duration: 9 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support provider contracting activities, including contract preparation, negotiation, documentation, and tracking using our internal contract management system (CUPA).
- Respond to complex and escalated inquiries from providers, partners, and internal teams related to contracting efforts across multiple product lines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support provider recruitment efforts and network growth.
- Organize and execute contracting workflows including mailings, template updates, and data entry.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and external audit requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with providers, ensuring professional and responsive communication.
- Use and maintain Access databases and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
Mandatory Qualifications:
✅ Minimum of 3 years of experience in provider contracting, healthcare reimbursement methodologies, or related recruitment efforts
✅ Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage contracts independently from initiation to closure
✅ Excellent relationship management skills, especially in provider-facing roles
✅ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and familiarity with Access databases
✅ Experience working with a contract management system, preferably CUPA
✅ Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare or insurance environment
- Understanding of Medicaid and Medicare networks (nice to have)
