What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Inspector position at Kore Home Inspections?
This is a full-time W-2 on-site role. The inspector will cover all of Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties.
The Home Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate inspections of homes and properties, including identifying potential issues or defects and providing clear and detailed reports to clients. The Home Inspector will also be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant building standards, and to work effectively and professionally with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Familiarity with relevant building safey and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or defects in a property
- Must hold an active home inspector license in the state of Florida.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely convey technical information to non technical audiences
- Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and prioritize competing demands
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to take, store, and upload photos with a modern cell phone.
Prior experience in a related field, such as construction or property management, is a plus
