Job Summary:
We are seeking a 1st shift dedicated and detail-oriented Skid Steer Operator to join our dynamic production team. As a Skid Steer Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of a skid steer loader, compact construction machines used for lifting and moving materials. The operator ensures safe and efficient use of the machinery while maintaining the equipment and adhering to job specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operation: Safely operate skid steer loader to perform tasks.
· Material Handling: Load and unload materials, like sand, into buckets or attachments.
· Inspection: Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure the skid steer is in safe working condition.
· Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area around the machine.
Requirements:
· Great attitude with a team first mentality.
· Good attention to detail for quality assurance.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently with minimal supervision.
· Read and write
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. With the exceptions of breaktime, this position requires being on your feet for the entire shift. You must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
