KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate remote opening for a Cyber Security Analyst.
The Cyber Security Analyst (CSA) is responsible for managing and monitoring security events throughout
the organization, researching emerging threats and response to those threats, monitoring of network
activity, and assisting with the design and implementation of security technologies. The CSA will also
regularly participate in incident response and collaborate with IT management to maintain security
documentation, policies, procedures, and controls to further our Information Security program.

Job Summary Details
* Creates, performs, and monitors internal and external vulnerability scans
* Monitors and tracks risks across assets
* Participates in penetration testing
* Works with other IT teams on risk remediation within their functional areas
* Monitors SIEM and other systems for alerts and events
* Maintains situational awareness for cyber threats across the organization and drives the
appropriate or commensurate response activities, where necessary
* Participates in information security audits
* Supports the overall management of security tools such as endpoint protection, DLP, web
gateway, mobile device security, 2FA, user awareness training learning management system
* Identifies gaps and recommends security improvements
* Must be available for 24/7 on-call support, when necessary
* Welcomes feedback for personal and professional growth
Experience with information security frameworks highly desirable (NIST CSF, ISO27000, CIS)
* Experience working in regulated environments desirable (HIPAA, PCI, SOX, etc.)
* Experience with commercial vulnerability scanners such as Nessus, Rapid7 InsightVM
* Experience with and solid knowledge of SIEM solutions and how they function
* Experience managing endpoint protection solutions(e.g., Symantec, McAfee, Cortex XDR,
FireEye, Cybereason, Carbon Black, Crowdstrike etc.)
* Experience writing standard operating procedures
* Experience with incident response
* Experience using SOAR playbooks
* Experience with Identity and Access Management technology (e.g. SSO, MFA, Password Safes,
Privilege Access Reviews)
* Knowledge of host based forensic tools and techniques, using EnCase, FTK, Cortex XDR or other
digital forensics tools
* Experience with network analysis using tcpdump, Wireshark or other packet capture/inspection
tools
* Experience working in regulated environments desirable (HIPAA, PCI, SOX, etc.)

Compensation depends on experience but is typically $35-40/hr and is fully remote
