What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Switcher position at Korex Corp.?
We are recruiting for two yard switchers to join our team here in Wixom, MI! Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials. We are looking to add one person to each of our shifts. Shift times are 4:30 pm to 3:00 am Monday-Friday, if needed, Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities:
- Move trailers in and out of dock doors and to and from the yard
- Transport trailers to off site Warehouse (CDL A)
- Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials
- Track and record units of materials handled
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- CDL A license required
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- Familiarity with forklift and other industrial vehicles
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
