Senior Sales Executive - Core BankingKorn Ferry is leading a retained search for a Senior Sales Executive on behalf of a core banking software company.This position has the opportunity to work remotely in any major metro market in the United States. The organization is a publicly traded firm seeking an enterprise new logo sales hunter to drive new logo acquisition with Tier 1 (250B an assets) and Tier 2 ($50B-$200B) banks in the US.Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve New Logo sales targets within assigned region, preparing and executing a territory sales planManage the full new logo sales cycle, coordinating pre-sales and other specialist resources as needed.Work with pre-sales to fully understand prospect's requirements, deliver quality proposalsNegotiate on terms and conditions of sales and service agreements.Assist in conducting market research and building client profiles with respect to prospect's current IT systems, potential future IT investments and strategies, as well as key decision makers.Establish and nurture relationships with C-levels clients, business partners and industry affiliatesWork with the broader team on developing pricing and contractual framework.Gain a deep understanding of each prospect and client's business, operations, and industry trends.Recognizes the client's strategic business and technology objectives.Proactively communicate the benefits of services and solutions to clients.Collaborate with customer stakeholders to understand their strategy, challenges, and opportunities, and effectively communicate how to assist them in achieving their transformation goals.Develop a solution framework with services that address prospect's specific needs.Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, accurately tracking quarterly forecasts and revenue.Skills and CompetenciesA proven track record of new sales and achievement of sales targets in the banking and financial sectorsUnderstanding of banking operations and relevant processes (front, middle, back office)Able to deal with stakeholders at all levels within an organizationStrong negotiating skills with key decision-makers.Thorough understanding of IT processes and implementations.Undergraduate degree in relevant business disciplines preferred, post-graduate degree also preferable.Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Self starter attitude, and team player, with ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
