AI Automation Engineer

AI AUTOMATION ENGINEER
Seeking an experienced AI Automation Engineer specializing in applying Large Language Models (LLMs) to Enterprise Use Cases. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building AI Agents, implementing prompt-chaining methodologies, and leveraging modern AI development tools to create innovative solutions. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be working directly with end users to understand requirements and implement effective AI solutions tailored to specific use cases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with end users to gather requirements, define use cases, and design appropriate AI solutions


• Design and develop AI Agents and agentic applications using LLMs and their APIs


• Implement prompt-chaining and RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architectures


• Set up and optimize vector databases for efficient knowledge retrieval


• Build and deploy AI applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks


• Evaluate and fine-tune LLM prompt responses for optimal performance


• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure for AI applications


• Collaborate using GitHub for version control and project management


• Translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate AI capabilities effectively


• Configure and optimize ChatGPT, OpenAI Assistants, and Anthropic Claude implementations


• Stay current with emerging AI trends, techniques, and best practices

Requirements

• 2 years of experience working directly with LLMs and their APIs


• Strong understanding of AI Agents, agentic architectures and implementation patterns


• Proficiency with ChatGPT, OpenAI Assistants API, and the OpenAI admin interface/settings


• Experience working with Anthropic Claude and its API


• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks


• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone) and embedding techniques


• Knowledge of RAG methodologies, chunking strategies, and prompt engineering


• Proven ability to develop web applications using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS


• Experience with AI development tools such as Lovable, Replit, or Cursor IDE


• Strong client/server architecture understanding and implementation experience


• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and optimize LLM responses


• Proficient with GitHub for version control, collaboration, and CI/CD workflows


• Excellent communication skills for requirements gathering and solution presentation


• Commitment to staying informed about industry trends and emerging AI capabilities
