We have partnered with our client in their search for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, who comes from a systems engineering background and experience within a Azure infrastructure environment! We are looking for highly motivated and talented engineers who are passionate about engineering velocity and automation. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable Azure cloud infrastructure, with a focus on secure operations.
- Debug and investigate issues in development and production environments, while also leading small projects and playing a significant role in larger initiatives.
- Embrace feedback from engineering teams to improve their Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with automation and provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.
- Apply business knowledge to customize reports, maintain dashboards, and deliver meaningful information. Review these reports to identify data integrity issues and work with application/database administrators to address them.
- Analyze information to determine business needs, implement effective technical solutions, and provide problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner. This includes answering questions from end-users to provide additional context and meeting demanding deadlines with a customer-focused approach.
Skills Required
- 4 years of experience in a large scale, highly available Azure infrastructure environment.
- Proficiency in a containerized, microservices based infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, Apache Mesos, Docker Swarm).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Cloud Formation).
- Experience in building and maintaining modern Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Harness, Drone).
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and interpersonal communication, ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
