Data Architect - Snowflake

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in Snowflake, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data architectures that meet our organization's analytical and reporting needs. A background in modern cloud technologies and strong data visualization experience is required. Experience with Figma is a plus.

• Design, develop, and implement data architectures, solutions, and frameworks within Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, ensuring data flow is efficient, scalable, and high-performing.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring data visualization meets business requirements and provides actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders to define data requirements and design tailored solutions.
• Oversee the integration of data from various sources into Snowflake and Azure environments.
• Design and implement data pipelines, ensuring they are automated, reliable, and optimized for performance.
• Ensure data security and governance practices are applied to all data architectures and solutions.
• Support the optimization and tuning of data processing workloads and Power BI reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
• Work closely with developers, analysts, and other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and data strategy.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role with strong expertise in Snowflake.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory for orchestrating data pipelines and workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Familiarity with Figma for UI/UX design is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud technologies, especially in Azure, is essential.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and best practices.

Location: Remote in the US

Rate: $80-$100/ hour
