Job Description:
We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of equipment in the production facility.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on complex electrical equipment (PLCs, control circuits, communication systems, I/O field devices, and VFD drives/motors).
- Install or modify electrical equipment following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, and other specifications with minimal instruction after general assignment.
- Work directly with all maintenance and operations personnel in a fast-paced environment to help develop a safety-focused and productive HM team and support electrical teammates to help maintain a positive and efficient work environment focused on safety and reliability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is highly preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
- Basic PLC programming experience required (Siemens preferred).
- Familiarity with common electrical tools and measuring instruments.
- Experience reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Strong working knowledge of 480-volt 3-phase electrical distribution systems and motor control.
About the Role:
This is a 12-hour rotating shift position that requires a 4-on/4-off rotating schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment in the production facility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, control circuits, communication systems, I/O field devices, and VFD drives/motors.
