We are seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to support our direct trading business, ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity and reporting.

Role Overview

As a Fund Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting, reporting, and operational processes for our hedge fund and direct trading activities. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with 6 years of experience in audit or industry, specifically supporting direct trading firms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including portfolio managers, operations, and compliance, to optimize financial processes and ensure accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the fund accounting process for direct trading and hedge fund portfolios.
• Oversee NAV calculations, reconciliations, P&L reporting, and investor allocations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and industry regulations.
• Partner with trading, operations, and risk teams to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors, administrators, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead initiatives to improve automation and efficiency in fund accounting operations.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

• 6 years of experience in audit (Big 4 preferred) or fund accounting, with direct exposure to trading firms or hedge funds.
• Strong knowledge of fund structures, financial instruments, and derivatives.
• Experience with fund accounting software (Geneva, Advent, or similar).
• Deep understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
