In this role, you'll dive into critical ledger activities, from journal entries to balance sheet reconciliations, while supporting key financial reporting processes. You'll play a pivotal role in areas like lease accounting, litigation reserves, equity compensation, EPS shares, investments, debt, hedging, and cash transactions.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including External Auditors, Treasury, Tax, Technical Accounting, and SEC Reporting. What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 5-8 years in accounting, Public Accounting and Corporate Accounting REQUIRED
- Credentials: CPA required, advanced degree preferred
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities, with deep knowledge of US GAAP and public company reporting standards
- Leadership: Ability to review and mentor less experienced team members
- Hybrid Flexibility: This role offers a hybrid setup, requiring in-office presence in Chicago Loop office at least two days a week

- Drive Financial Accuracy: Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and precise General Ledger entries, and deliver insightful analyses to business partners
