Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager of Vendor Contracts and Management to join our dynamic and growing organization. This role is essential to ensuring optimal vendor relationships, contract compliance, and effective management of procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor negotiations, contract management, and building long-term partnerships that align with organizational goals.
Flexible hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
Key Responsibilities :
Contract Management :
Draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure terms align with organizational objectives.
Maintain a centralized repository of vendor agreements and track contract expirations and renewals.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in all vendor contracts.
Vendor Relationship Management :
Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendors.
Conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure vendors meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
Resolve conflicts and disputes with vendors promptly and professionally.
Strategic Sourcing :
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through vendor partnerships.
Analyze market trends and vendor offerings to make informed sourcing decisions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and prioritize vendor requirements.
Risk Management :
Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor contracts and relationships.
Ensure all vendor activities align with organizational policies and risk tolerance.
Team Collaboration and Leadership :
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to align vendor strategies with organizational goals.
Mentor and guide team members involved in procurement and contract management.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor contract management, procurement, or a similar role.
Proven experience in vendor negotiation and performance evaluation.
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in vendor contracts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and procurement tools.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
