We have partnered with our client in their search for an MS Teams Solutions Architect/ Engineer.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer with a strong background in Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), specifically focusing on Microsoft Teams Calling services, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service).
- Serve as a subject matter expert on UCaaS, with a specific focus on Microsoft Teams Calling services and Direct Routing.
- Build roadmap, rollout plans, and engineering MS Teams Direct Routing migration solutions.
- Design and architect UCaaS solutions based on customer requirements and best practices. Create solution diagrams, configurations, and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as product management and engineering, to ensure the feasibility and viability of proposed solutions.
Skills Required
- In-depth Engineering knowledge of UCaaS technologies, specifically Microsoft Teams Calling services is required.
- Experience engineering Direct Routing, Operator Connect, Cisco CUCM, SIP trunking, VoIP, and related technologies
- Experience migrating organization's voice services from traditional technologies to MS Teams direct calling services.
- Automation experience with PowerShell or other scripting.
- Strong knowledge of O365 products.
- Knowledge of Networking protocols
- Knowledge of all routing protocols (For example : BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, GLBP, VRF), Traffic engineering, L2/L3 VPN, multicast & class of service
- Strong understanding and familiarity with router, LAN switch, application accelerator, wireless controller and IP Voice
- Experience working in financial services is a major plus.
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in UCaaS, CCaaS, and Microsoft Teams Calling services, such as Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, CCaaS platform-specific certifications, or equivalent
