What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at Korn Ferry?
Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Production Supervisor for their Athens TX facility. A technical background is required (a mechanical background would be ideal), preferably familiar with construction / infrastructure loadbearing concepts.
Familiarity with CNC machining will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!
2 Day Shifts available : M-F, 5 : 00am-1 : 00pm; M-F, 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm
Compensation : $70,000 base 6.5% targeted bonus
What You Will Do :
- Supervise and coordinate activities of production facility workers (approximately 25 direct reports.) Activities include tooling, mold set-ups, material flow and bearing production. Maintain schedules; create production targets that achieve schedules.
- Review work orders, production specifications, technical instructions, facility requirements, tool requisitions, equipment and supplies.
- Ensures all employees are following safety protocols (including material handling and PPE.)
- Train, mentor, and guide new workers.
- Must be willing to learn CNC machining and understand how to read blueprints.
- At least 4 years of US Military experience required
- Familiarity with CNC machining highly preferable.
- Must have strong leadership skills , be process-oriented , able to read blueprints , and have a heavy commitment to workplace safety .
- Prefer mechanical background but open to anyone technical, preferably familiar with construction / infrastructure loadbearing concepts.
