Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Development: Identify, develop, and cultivate new business opportunities within the EMS market
- Present and promote comprehensive range of services to potential clients, tailoring presentations to meet specific customer needs.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Provide exceptional account management services, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Lead Generation and Follow-up: Proactively source new sales opportunities and generate leads through networking, industry events, and market research.
- Follow up on leads and referrals promptly, maintaining a proactive and client-focused approach.
- Sales Material and Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain effective sales materials and stay updated on the latest product offerings and industry trends.
- Able to clearly and effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
- Customer Relationship Management: Manage all aspects of customer relations, including quotes, contracts, purchase orders, technical inquiries, project coordination, scheduling, deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Engineering, Quality, Production, Purchasing, and Accounting to ensure seamless project execution.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets and quotas through strategic planning and execution.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Sales Expertise: A minimum of 3 years of proven success in outside sales, sales application engineering, or customer service within the EMS industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience and knowledge within the PCB (Printed Circuit Board), PCBA, or quick-turn prototype industry.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Adaptability and Detail Orientation: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
- Client-Centric Approach: A customer-focused mindset, driven to deliver superior service and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
- Forecasting Experience: Demonstrated experience in quarterly forecasting and strategic sales planning.
- Business Development Skills: Proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in various software applications, including CRM software; experience with Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- EMS/Contract Manufacturing Experience: Essential for success in this role.
