About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SBA Business Development Officer to join our growing team. This is a remote opportunity ideal for a results-driven professional with a proven track record in SBA lending and a strong network of referral sources. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating a minimum of $7 million in SBA loan production annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source and originate SBA 7(a) and 504 loan opportunities from a wide range of industries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners including CPAs, attorneys, business brokers, and real estate professionals.
- Collaborate with underwriting, credit, and closing teams to ensure a seamless client experience from origination to funding.
- Stay current on SBA policies, procedures, and regulatory changes.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline of prospects and deals.
- Represent the company at networking events, industry conferences, and other relevant functions to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SBA lending with demonstrated success in business development.
- Proven track record of $7MM in annual SBA loan production.
- In-depth knowledge of SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs, eligibility requirements, and application processes.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
