Senior Role, High Voltage EV Charging Systems, Western US Location
An established manufacturer of heavy-duty transportation equipment has an immediate need for a Senior Role, High Voltage EV Charging Systems. One of the largest and most established manufacturers in North America, which has recently completed a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Located in one of the country’s oldest wine regions located on the eastern edge of California's Bay Area. Today it is home to several world-renowned wineries. The area has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild to cool winters.
This Senior Role in the New Product Engineering team will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of the High Voltage systems for all products. This role will have a direct influence on all electrical systems from concept through manufacturing launch.
Qualifications/experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related
- Knowledge of Power Electronics on Electric Vehicles
- Experience in DC Charging High Voltage systems.
- Extensive “Charging Piece” Experience with direct methods of charging. Plug In, Inductive Charging, overhead charging
- Position is focused on High Voltage and will be considered Subject Matter Expert on the Team.
- Expertise in High Voltage (HV) design requirements and component evaluation and selection for the application, including HHV cable assemblies, HV connectors, and HV circuit protection devices.
- Experience in Electrified Vehicles and related HV componentry such as DC/DC converters, Li-ion batteries, high-power DC chargers
