The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment at Koroseal’s manufacturing facilities in Louisville, KY. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial systems. The position will report to the Plant Engineer and requires training on the 1st shift for approximately 3 months before transitioning to the 2nd or 3rd shift.

Position Overview
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment at Koroseal’s manufacturing facilities in Louisville, KY. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial systems. The position will report to the Plant Engineer and requires training on the 1st shift for approximately 3 months before transitioning to the 2nd or 3rd shift.
Shift
- 2 nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm
- 3 rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11pm – 7:30pm
- Troubleshoot and detect electrical or mechanical deficiencies in equipment.
- Diagnose and repair industrial electrical control systems, including various voltages (AC/DC) and phasing, motors, sensors, and logic controllers.
- Maintain and repair variable frequency drives and servo systems.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
- Perform millwright work, including installation and alignment of machine/power transmission equipment.
- Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct maintenance of boilers, rotary screw air compressors, chiller systems, and other facility equipment.
- Perform hand and power tool operations, welding, and cutting.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
- Participate in Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS).
- Promote and maintain a 5S workplace environment.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Forklift certification.
- Knowledge of PLCs, MLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Rotogravure printing and laminating experience is a plus.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs.
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs frequently.
- Stand for a prolonged period of time.
- Work in seasonal ambient environments and elevated positions.
