Position Overview
The Manufacturing Quality Control Manager is responsible for leading and developing the quality assurance processes within Koroseal’s manufacturing operations. This role ensures product quality and consistency while fostering a collaborative culture across teams. The individual will work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest quality standards.
This role is located at our manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY, and will report directly to the Technical Director.
Key Responsibilities

The individual will work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop a team of quality control inspectors and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between manufacturing, R&D, customer service, and supply chain teams to address quality concerns and implement process improvements.
- Partner with plant leadership to drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Oversee inspection, testing, and validation processes to ensure adherence to Koroseal’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation in compliance with industry and company standards.
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve incoming material standards.
- Develop Installation program with company expert and establish training program for sales
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, ensuring timely resolution and preventive action.
- Communicate quality performance metrics to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between manufacturing and external auditors to ensure compliance with quality certifications and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or process improvement roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment.
- Understanding and applying statistical tools for data analysis and quality control is valuable.
- Proficiency with using Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
- Must be able to work independently at times, and with limited direction.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the manufacturing floor for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments, including noise and temperature variations.
