GARDENING CREW LEADER

Korotkin Associates, an established award winning landscape contractor, seeks a professional gardener who is reliable and dedicated to work with a small crew of 1-3 persons creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional landscape experience in the field
• Ability to work with a small team
• Proficient with power tools
• Ability to work independently
• Good driving record

For over 30 years, this innovative vision oriented company has been in the forefront of the green and sustainability movement. We use best practices, proper gardening techniques and water conservation.

We have a comprehensive written Health and Safety Plan, including COVID19 safety protocols. All equipment and materials are provided.

Duties:
- Perform various gardening and landscaping tasks, including planting, pruning, fertilization and water management.
- Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and applying fertilizers.
- Water management with irrigation systems and controller programming.
- Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, hedgers and leaf blowers to maintain the grounds.
- Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, and pruners for manual labor tasks.
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects such as planting, mulching.
- Ensure that all garden areas are clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Monitor plant health and identify any signs of disease or pest infestation.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when working with chemicals or operating machinery.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening
- Knowledge of different plants, flowers, and trees commonly found in the area.
- Familiarity with power tools used for lawn care and maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills

- A valid driver's license is required
