Job Overview
We are seeking a certified Fire Sprinkler Inspector to conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fire suppression systems and be familiar with NFPA 25 and state regulations.
Responsibilities
✅ Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 25.
✅ Identify and report system deficiencies, leaks, or required repairs.
✅ Document findings and complete inspection reports for clients and local authorities.
✅ Provide recommendations for system improvements and necessary upgrades.
✅ Work with property managers, building owners, and fire marshals to ensure compliance.
✅ Troubleshoot and assist in minor repairs when needed.
✅ Maintain proper tools, equipment, and safety procedures while on-site.
✅ Stay up to date with local fire codes and industry best practices.
Qualifications
✔ NICET Level II or III (Water-Based Systems) – Preferred
✔ State Fire Marshal Certification – Preferred
✔ Minimum 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler inspections
✔ Strong understanding of NFPA 25, local, and state fire codes
✔ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and system schematics
✔ Comfortable using inspection software and reporting tools
✔ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
✔ Strong communication skills and professional work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
➕ Fire pump and backflow preventer inspection experience
➕ Experience working with government contracts and compliance documentation
➕ Knowledge of commercial, industrial, and residential fire protection systems
