Korzen Health is working with one of the largest healthcare systems in the area in Lancaster, SC (Requires SC license)
We are currently hiring a PMHNP or PA for a correctional facility.
Job details:
- Work within a 12 bed female prison unit.
- Medical management of patients within unit - and possible C/L work outside of unit
- M-F 5 days/week schedule
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess clients mental health status, medication needs, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, social workers, and medical staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medication for clients, with a focus on minimizing side effects and monitoring for drug interactions.
- Provide medication education to clients and family members to ensure proper compliance and understanding.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment adjustments, and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices, new research, and medications related to psychiatric and behavioral health care.
